In line with improving quality standards and reducing energy consumption in the construction sector, an official meeting was held with the esteemed Director General of the South Khorasan Standards Organization. The session aimed to explore various aspects of cooperation and to exchange views on strategies for optimizing energy use in buildings. During the meeting, existing programs and capacities in the field of standardization were reviewed. Key topics discussed included enhancing energy efficiency in public and private buildings, developing joint guidelines to ensure compliance with standards, and training specialized personnel in the field of energy optimization. Participants emphasized the importance of constructive interaction between government agencies, the private sector, and standards organizations. The formation of joint working groups to follow up on operational plans was considered a key step toward reducing energy consumption and improving construction quality. At the conclusion of the session, both parties expressed their readiness to expand technical cooperation and underscored the need to develop a joint roadmap and implement pilot projects in the field of building energy optimization.
