As part of advancing the detailed natural resources study project in the province, a team of experts specializing in water and environmental sciences conducted a field visit to the dams and rivers of Sarbisheh County within the Sanook and Zarsanook basin. The visit aimed to assess the structural and hydrological conditions of the region’s water resources and to finalize the project’s structural design report. During the visit, experts evaluated dam stability, riverbed conditions, sedimentation levels, and the hydraulic behavior of surface flows, gathering essential field data for technical analysis. Engineer Shamshirgaran, the project manager, emphasized the significance of these studies, stating: "The objective of this assessment is to optimize structural designs for sustainable water resource management and to mitigate flood-related risks. The data collected during this visit will serve as the foundation for decision-making in designing and implementing appropriate solutions." The findings from this visit will be reflected in the final structural design report and will contribute to the detailed studies supporting the formulation of executive and management plans for the province's natural resources sector.
