River protection and engineering
The specialty of river protection and engineering includes the design and implementation of methods to manage, protect and improve the ecological and hydrological functions of rivers and water environments. This field investigates and controls erosion and sedimentation factors, stabilization of river bed and walls, and protection of related ecosystems. Key activities in this specialty include the design and implementation of protective structures, such as seawalls and seawalls, flood and seasonal flow management, and restoration of natural habitats to preserve biodiversity. Also, this field has contributed to the sustainable use of water resources and reduction of natural hazards, including floods and landslides, and plays an important role in sustainable development and environmental protection.

Water and sewage facilities
The specialization of water and sewage facilities includes the design, implementation, monitoring and optimization of water and sewage collection, transmission and treatment systems. The purpose of this department is to provide sanitary water for urban, industrial and agricultural uses and proper disposal of wastewater in order to protect the environment and public health. Key activities in this field include the design of water distribution networks, wastewater collection and transfer systems, water and wastewater treatment plants, wastewater pumping and retreatment, as well as water consumption management and reducing leakage and wastage.
Irrigation and drainage networks
Irrigation and drainage networks include the design, implementation and management of systems that optimally supply the water required by fields and green spaces and drain excess water appropriately. In the irrigation sector, key activities include the design and construction of water transmission and distribution channels, pumping stations, and flow control systems to provide timely and appropriate water for agricultural crops and green spaces. In the drainage sector, the design and construction of canals and drains in order to dispose of excess water and control the underground water level is very important. Also, managing water resources and optimizing its use is one of the other important parts of this field, which preserves soil quality, prevents salinization and flooding of lands, and increases productivity in agriculture and green space, and plays an essential role in the sustainability of water resources and agricultural production.
